An executive leader must have the skills necessary to ensure that the sales, client managers, and operations divisions understand the vision of the company and that those divisions are able to utilize management tools and implement processes that facilitate the achievement of the required objectives of the organization.

Although it is certainly an asset, an executive leader does not necessarily have to be a technical expert in every aspect of the healthcare industry. However, every leader of a company, division, or department needs to develop a culture where the people who are being led are comfortable communicating all the information, good or bad, without fear of reprisal.  When organizational decisions are made, these same people must be capable of implementing the strategy and delivering the results.  In essence, a team approach is essential to solving many of the challenges that our industry and each company faces, and we can help you achieve this goal.
Leadership is the most important force within an organization.  Not the kind of leadership that comes from positional authority, but the kind of leadership that allows a person to truly influence another person to modify behavior or to deliver a service better than the competition.  However, because the most powerful form of leadership is nothing more than influence, which has to be earned, it is very fragile.

“My experience has shown that much of what I have accomplished as a professional manager and/or leader has been through a team approach.  As leaders, our role is to communicate the vision, provide direction and demonstrate the leadership required to fulfill the mission of the organization.  I feel strongly that open communication enabled each of us to become comfortable with the thought: that as a team, we could face challenges and prevail.  However, when communications breakdown and trust erodes, the team falters and the success of the organization is impeded.”
